Music to my Ears

Hello all... I have recent discovery of sorts to share with you...
Over my winter break I was introduced to a fabulous artist named, Ben Rector, my friend has been listening to his music for quite some time now and I cannot believe I have been so blind because, well, I love Ben Rector... and his music too of course.  I have been listening non-stop to his two most recent albums titled, Into the Morning (released February 16th 2010) and, Something Like This (released September 13th 2011).  I cannot even begin to tell you what my favorite song is from each album but I can give you of some highlights...
The first song I ever heard of Ben Rector's was "White Dress" which I absolutely love, its upbeat tune and the piano at the beginning of the song pulls me in every time I listen to it and always seems to be able to brighten my mood! "The Beat," "Out of my Head" and, "Autumn" are all songs from Rector's album Into the Morning, that I enjoy and I am well on my way to knowing most of the lyrics to these songs! :)
From his latest album, Something Like This, "Let the Good Times Roll" is a feel good tune with a fantastic brass section that makes me love this album right off the bat. "Hide Away" has great harmonies that I could listen to over and over again and "Song for the Suburbs" has great lyrics that really show off Rector's talent as a song writer.
Although I do enjoy both of Rector's albums I have found that Into the Morning is my favorite of the two, despite the fact...
Ben Rector is a musical genius and when he comes to Boston this April on tour with Needtobreathe I know I'll be there... will you?
